Houston Empowerment Center Gets a Facelift from Exxon Mobil Volunteers
ExxonMobil volunteers came out in force during National Volunteer week to help Volunteers of America Texas beautify the facilities and brighten the lives of those we serve. At the Community Empowerment Center, volunteers painted the large activity room and cleared out the outdoor space where our ADA accessible garden for consumers with disabilities will be built. At the McGovern Campus for Women and Families, volunteers painted and decorated the women’s group room, re-did bathrooms, landscaped and put in a new vegetable garden.
