Home and Community-Based Services
Volunteers of America Texas is a certified Home and Community-Based Services program provider monitored by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Volunteers of America Texas provides services to people of all ages in various settings of your choice. Examples of such settings are foster care, group homes, and supports in your own home. The goal of the program is to assist individuals with the improvement of self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside in home settings. Together, the individual, their family, and our staff develop an individualized program designed to adapt the services and staff we provide to meet the family’s needs and desires. We provide round the clock care to individuals living in our group homes, and our professional staff are available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
