Hurricane Harvey Relief

Volunteers of America Texas has numerous locations in the area impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We have seven housing locations, two office locations, more than 200 individuals we support with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and veterans who have been impacted by the storm. Additionally, we have staff members and their families who have been affected; some moved to Houston after experiencing similar circumstances from Hurricane Katrina, 12 years ago and now are having to deal with the stress of rising waters yet again.

VOA Texas has been serving Texas for 100 years, therefore, we have weathered many storms. We are committed to helping our storm victims now and in the long-run as some will need counseling and support once the water recedes and the winds are calm.

When making your donations for our Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, please write "Hurricane Harvey" in the comments section to be sure your dollars go directly to our Houston area programs.
