VOA Texas Lights the Night Blue in Dallas

On Monday, March 8 a small reception of nearly 35 donors, volunteers, supporters, and VOA Texas staff members was held at the Omni Dallas Hotel to celebrate Volunteers of America's national anniversary. President and CEO Angela King, gave remarks about VOA’s history and legacy – locally and nationwide. Sentiments from VOA National CEO, Mike King, were shared by video. After a brief update about the organization’s winter storm response, Angela led our guests in a toast in honor of this significant milestone.

VOA Texas solicited participation from all the major downtown Dallas landmarks to turn their LED building lights blue. VOA branding illuminated the Dallas skyline, once voted the world's best, the entire night on Reunion Tower, Bank of America Plaza, AT&T Discover District and the Omni Dallas Hotel.
