Volunteers of America Texas’ Operation Backpack® program provides hundreds of children in need with a brand-new backpack filled with grade-specific school supplies.

We are seeking corporate partners, community groups, and individual donors to help cover the $28 cost of each fully stocked backpack. We invite you to empower local students at a sponsorship level that is meaningful to you:

2026 Feature Events
Fort Worth
As summer begins, many North Texas families are already feeling the financial strain of the upcoming school year. To help meet those needs, Volunteers of America Texas Operation Backpack® is proud to partner with the City of Fort Worth for its Back to School Bash.
This event will be a high-energy celebration of community pride with music, refreshments, and one simple goal: making sure every child leaves with the school supplies they need to succeed.
