Military Fraternity Combats PTSD by Giving Back
DALLAS, TX -- Senior citizens who reside at Prairie Creek Apartments, a senior housing complex owned and operated by Volunteers of America Texas, are in for a real treat this Friday.
More than 40 members Sigma Alpha Gamma Military Fraternity Inc. are flying into Dallas, Texas from across the country for their annual conference and will host a bingo tournament on Friday, July 19. The tournament comes on the eve of the fraternity’s Second Annual Grand Formation, which empowers members of the U.S. armed forces and veterans to get involved and give back to the local community.

This collaboration with VOA Texas is part of the fraternity’s ongoing commitment to foster relationships between members of the military and civilians. It also serves as an opportunity to execute the fraternity’s 2019 strategic plan of partnering with senior residences across the nation to combat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, and hunger. Sigma Alpha Gamma is committed to serving local veteran communities and educating the general public on the purpose of Military Greek Letter Organizations.
